MEET THE FOUNDER

Aria Solène

Aria spent a decade as a cosmetic chemist for some of the world's largest beauty houses before walking away. She was tired of the compromises — the synthetic shortcuts, the marketing-led formulas, the disposable luxury.

In 2019, she returned to her grandmother's kitchen in Porto and started again from first principles. No filler ingredients. No claims she couldn't measure. Just the cleanest, most effective moisturiser she could imagine.

That first jar became Velour. Today she still personally signs off on every batch that leaves the Lisbon atelier.
